A Complete Digital Karaoke Request System

What Can I Sing (WCIS) is karaoke request and songbook software designed specifically for karaoke hosts. Replace paper song slips and outdated songbooks with a digital system that connects your singers and your karaoke show in real time.

Your singers can search your available songs, submit requests and receive updates while you manage the queue, singer rotation and requests from the Host App or Web Based Host Version.

QR Code Karaoke Requests

Your singers don't need to download an app to use WCIS.

Each venue can have its own dedicated web address and QR code. Singers simply scan the QR code, open your songbook in their browser and submit their request.

Alternatively, singers can open a landing page and enter the venue's unique access code. Singers can also use the WCIS app for map-based venue discovery and additional features.

There is no app download and no login required for the Web Based User Version.

This makes WCIS ideal for bars, clubs, restaurants, private parties and other karaoke events where you want the request process to be as simple as possible.

Scan. Search. Request.

Your venue's QR code takes singers directly to your digital songbook.

How Digital Karaoke Requests Work

1. Scan

Your singer scans your venue's QR code or opens your dedicated WCIS web address.

2. Search

They search your actual songbook to find the song they want to sing.

3. Request

They submit the request and it appears in your Host system for you to manage.

More Than a Digital Songbook

WCIS is designed around the way a karaoke host actually runs a show.

Requests aren't simply collected and forgotten. WCIS gives the Host tools to manage requests, singers and rotation throughout the night.

  • Manage new and approved requests
  • Manage singer rotation
  • Change the order of requests
  • Notify the next singer
  • Set maximum requests in the queue
  • Prevent duplicate song requests
  • Automatically approve requests if desired
  • Remove singers who have left
  • Send notifications to singers
  • Manage multiple venues and songbooks

Manage Your Show From the Web

WCIS also provides a Web Based Host Version.

Hosts can manage requests from a computer while running their karaoke software. The web-based Host Version and Host App connect to the same WCIS database, allowing both platforms to be used simultaneously.

This gives KJs flexibility to manage their show from the device that works best for them.

Digital Karaoke Songbook Management

Keep your singers searching the same catalogue you actually use for your show.

Upload Your Catalogue

Upload your karaoke catalogue using CSV files and manage your songbook online.

Use Manufacturer Catalogues

Songbook Statistics

See when songs were added, how often they have been requested and when they were last requested.

Designed to Work With Your Karaoke Setup.

You don't need to change your existing karaoke hosting software to use WCIS. WCIS can operate as a stand-alone request system or integrate with supported karaoke software. WCIS can integrate with popular karaoke hosting software and tools, helping reduce the amount of manual work required to move requests from your Singer queue into your karaoke system.

SongBoss

Sync your WCIS songbook with your SongBoss library and use two-way request integration.

OpenKJ

Why Use Digital Karaoke Request Software?

Traditional karaoke often relies on paper slips, pencils and printed songbooks. Digital karaoke request software replaces that process with a system that is faster, easier to manage and connected to your singers.

Instead of asking a singer to find a song in a printed book, write down their name and hand a piece of paper to the Host, they can search and submit their request directly from their phone.

The Host gets a centralised view of the requests and can manage the karaoke queue throughout the show.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is karaoke request software?

Karaoke request software allows singers to search a digital songbook and submit song requests electronically. The Host can then manage those requests and the singer rotation using a digital system.

Can WCIS be used in the USA market?

Yes. WCIS can be used in any location globally. WCIS has been built with the US market in mind, including "tipping" - predominately found in the USA.

Do singers need to download the WCIS app?

No. WCIS has a Web Based User Version. Singers can access a venue's dedicated web address or scan a venue-specific QR code and submit requests using their web browser.

Can I restrict the amount of Digital Requests Singers can submit?

Yes. In the settings for each venue, there is an option to set the "Maximum Number of Concurrent Requests". The number chosen will set the amount of requests that singers can have in the queue. Once Singers hit their limit, Completing a turn or withdrawing a request will allow another request to be sumbmitted.

Can I turn off Digital Requests completely?

Yes. Turning off requests will still allow Singers to browse your catalogue and save favourites. They can still tip you too. But when they tap on a song, they are told to fill in the Singer's name and then present the screen to the Host. Effectively creating an electronic slip.

Does WCIS have a QR code request system?

Yes. Hosts can have a dedicated QR code for their venue. Singers can scan the QR code and go directly to the venue's WCIS songbook.

Can WCIS manage karaoke rotation?

Yes. WCIS provides Host tools for managing approved requests, singer lists, request order, queue limits and notifying the next singer.

Can I use WCIS with my existing karaoke software?

WCIS provides integrations with systems including SongBoss, OpenKJ, VirtualDJ and Siglos. It can also be used in "Stand-alone" mode meaning it doesn't matter what software you use.

Can I use WCIS on a computer?

Yes. WCIS provides a Web Based Host Version so Hosts can manage their karaoke requests from a computer as well as using the Host App.

Is WCIS suitable for professional karaoke hosts?

WCIS was designed specifically around karaoke hosting. It provides digital songbook management, singer requests, queue management, notifications, venue management and integrations with karaoke software.

What is the maximum size catalogue a Host can upload?

The catalogue size is unlimited. It doesn't matter how many songs you have. It doesn't matter how many different versions of the same song either. WCIS is built to handle anything.
